Eliza Kiss, Porter Emeritus

Eliza first performed with the Porters of Hellsgate in 2012 as Helen in Troilus and Cressida. Roles with the Porters include Desdemona in Othello, Katherine in Henry V Mistress Quickly in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Servilius in the Timon of Athens. Other Los Angeles theatre credits include Melody in the LA Premiere of Be a Good Little Widow (Noho Arts Center), Portia in Julius Caesar (Powerhouse Theatre), Iris in The Tempest (A Noise Within Theatre), Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum), Audrey in As You Like It (Declan Adams Theatre Co.), and Ophelia in the World Premiere of Tragic Women (La Cañada Flintridge Shakespeare Festival). Regional credits include Goneril in King Lear (Montana Shakespeare Company), Actress One in Baskerville (Grandstreet Theatre), Margaret in Henry VI, Parts 1, 2, and 3 (Orlando Shakespeare Festival), Elinor in Sense and Sensibility (Grandstreet Theatre), Tiger Lily/Liza in Peter Pan (Dorset Theatre Festival), Izzy in Rabbit Hole (Grandstreet Theatre) and Lucy in Dracula (Tallahassee Little Theatre). TV/Film work include: “The Encounter” (dir. Robert Conway), “Axeman”, “Of Fortune and Gold” (Prominence Films), “Dirty Rules” (dir. Mimi Leder), and “Old Country Barter Ladies” (Lale Loki Productions). She has studied with Groundlings School of Improv, Margie Haber Studios, Lesly Kahn & Co., and holds a BFA in Acting from Florida State University.
