Hilary Schwartz, Porter Emeritus
Hilary Schwartz first debuted with the Porters in 2012 as the Hostess in The Merry Wives of Windsor. She has followed with various roles in King Lear, Timon of Athens, The Winter’s Tale, and Othello. She has been an official member of the company since 2013, and is thrilled to have a place among this incredible company of artists. Hilary graduated with a degree in theatre from the University of California, Irvine in 2011. She also spent a year studying Shakespeare and the classics at the British American Drama Academy in London, England. Hilary has worked with various other theatre ensembles in Los Angeles including Downtown Repertory, Open Fist, and the Road Theatre, where she performed as a company member in various west coast and world-premiere productions including Anatomy of a Hug, and the Ovation-Award winning John is a Father, directed by Dan Bonnell. Hilary is currently based in Chicago, where she has worked with various theatre ensembles including Jackalope Theatre, Steep Theatre, Broken Nose Theatre, Level 11, Eclipse, and Babes with Blades. She also works with the Chicago-based production company Very Cool Videos, where you can see her in various projects including “Gancho”, “War Toys”, “Hills Like White Elephants”, and “Hey, Sorry”.
